OnePlus is increasing the reach of its 5G technology in India and partnering with leading telecom companies

OnePlus smartphone users can now access ultra-fast, low-latency 5G services in India from major telecom providers such as Reliance Jio and Airtel, thanks to the company’s successful efforts to build an ecosystem for the disruptive 5G technology. Now that 5G is available, all OnePlus devices launched in 2020 can connect to top telecom networks including Reliance Jio and Airtel.

To successfully deliver 5G technology services to Indian consumers, OnePlus is constantly working with leading telecom companies in the country. To highlight the distinct benefits of 5G technology at the recently concluded India Mobile Congress (IMC) in Delhi, OnePlus partnered with Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vi. Indian consumers have seen live demonstrations of 5G use cases on OnePlus smartphones.

All 5G-enabled OnePlus flagships and Nord products introduced since 2020, as well as the latest models in the OnePlus 10 series, are powered by a seamless 5G network. Vi 5G network was also used in New Delhi to test these phones. Once 5G is available in India, users will be able to access Vi’s 5G services.

With the stated release of the OnePlus 8 series in India in 2020, OnePlus introduced its initial 5G smartphone lineup. Since then, every OnePlus smartphone supports 5G, including the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, the company’s cheapest model in the sub-INR 20,000 price range.

According to Counterpoint Research India’s smartphone model tracker for Q3 2022, OnePlus dominated the 5G smartphone market in India in terms of shipments in both the ₹20,000-30,000 price bracket and the affordable premium segment (INR30K-45K).

The official launch date of OnePlus 11 5G in India has been confirmed by OnePlus. The OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will be revealed at the company’s Cloud 11 event, which is scheduled for February 7, 2023. However, the devices are slated to launch on January 4 in China before landing in India.

OnePlus has just revealed official images revealing the design of the upcoming devices. It is known that 12GB and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM options will be available for the OnePlus 11 5G. A Bionic Vibration motor will be added for better performance. The new OnePlus device has a notification slider. The OnePlus 11 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The images show that the OnePlus 11 will be available in black and green. It appears to have rounded corners, an array of cameras, and the Hasselblad logo on the back.
